TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

RESERVATION
Reservation will be definitive upon receipt of this form completed and accompanied with the amount of the deposit or with an order form (30% of the total cost and non-refundable).

If the date of arrival is in less than 2 months, this form is to be sent upon receipt.
If the date of arrival is in more than 2 months, this form is to be sent 2 months before the date of arrival.

CANCELLATION
Cancellation by the group :
In case of cancellation by the group, the following sum of money will be due:

• cancellation between one month and 15 days : 50% of the invoice total amount
• cancellation between 15 days and 48 hours : 75% of the invoice total amount
• cancellation less than 48 hours : 100 % of the invoice total amount

Cancellation by the Hostel :
The Bordeaux Youth Hostel can be led to cancel your stay for force majeure reasons, or for the security of the guest. This cancellation will lead to the full reimbursement of the deposit; no indemnity can be claimed.

MODIFICATIONS
Modification of your stay dates :
This modification needs the Hostel’s approval. However, if the Hostel doesn’t have any availability to accommodate your group on the requested dates, the cancellation conditions above will apply.

Modification of number of guests:
Any decrease in the number of guests should be declared at least 8 days before the date of arrival in order to be taken into consideration. If notice is not given within this period, you will be invoiced for the original reservation.
Any modification leading to an increase in the number of guests will need the Hostel’s approval. Otherwise, the guests will only be accepted within the limits of the reserved or available places.

Whether it be a cancellation or modification, the conditions above apply to the accommodation and to the catering.

RESPONSIBILITY
The person in charge of the group is responsible for the moral and legal responsibility of the group. The group has to conform to the internal rules of the Bordeaux Youth hostel and to the rules of communal life, as well as to the instructions of the management.
Any potential damage caused in the Hostel during the duration of the stay is, after report and evaluation of the damages, immediately payable to the Youth hostel, or in posteriori if the damages are noticed after the departure of the group.
